How can I submit an audit confirmation to Wyoming CLASS?

Please email your audit confirmation to clientservices@wyomingclass.com and provide either a fax number or email for receipt. Wyoming CLASS is also accessible on www.confirmation.com and will receive notification of your audit confirmation on the platform.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, audit confirmations sent via USPS will have a significant delay, so we strongly encourage email confirmations.

How can you participate in Wyoming CLASS?

Enrolling in Wyoming CLASS is simple. After reading the Indenture of Trust and Information Statement follow these steps:
- Pass a resolution approving the Wyoming CLASS Indenture of Trust (a model resolution is included in the registration packet for your convenience).
- Complete the Wyoming CLASS Registration Packet.
- Submit items 1 & 2 to the Wyoming CLASS Client Service Team for processing at clientservices@wyomingclass.com.
- Upon review and approval, you will receive confirmation that you have been accepted as a Wyoming CLASS Participant.

Is Wyoming CLASS rated?

Wyoming CLASS is rated ‘AAAm’ by S&P Global Ratings Services, the highest rating assigned to principal stability government investment pools. This rating reflects the conservative nature of the pool’s investments as well as the excellent credit quality of the program. S&P Global Ratings monitors the pool on a weekly basis.
A ‘AAAm’ rating by S&P Global Ratings is obtained after S&P evaluates a number of factors including credit quality, market price exposure, and management. Ratings are subject to change and do not remove credit risk.

What transaction fees does Wyoming CLASS charge?

Wyoming CLASS does not charge any transaction fees to its Participants. However, your receiving bank may have wiring fees and/or incoming ACH fees, therefore we recommend checking with a representative at your bank to discuss the potential costs.

What are the investment objectives of Wyoming CLASS?

- Safety: minimizing risk by managing portfolio investments so as to preserve principal and maintain a stable net asset value and to maintain the highest rating for the pool from a nationally recognized statistical rating organization
- Liquidity: managing portfolio investments to ensure that cash will be available as required to finance Participants’ operations
- Yield: maximizing current income to the degree consistent with legality, safety, and liquidity

Who oversees Wyoming CLASS?

The Wyoming CLASS Board of Trustees (the Board) is responsible for assuring compliance with the Indenture and the investment restrictions therein. The Board oversees, reviews, administers, and supervises the activities of all professional advisors to the Trust. The initial Board consists of three active Wyoming CLASS Participants. The Board may, from time-to-time, increase the number of Board members provided that the number of Trustees shall never be less than three or more than thirteen.

Who is eligible to use Wyoming CLASS?

Wyoming CLASS allows for the state of Wyoming, any county, city, town, school district, community college district, hospital district, special district or other political subdivision of the state, or department, agency or instrumentality thereof, or any political or public corporation of the state of Wyoming to open an account and become a Participant.

What types of securities does Wyoming CLASS invest in?

Wyoming CLASS invests solely in securities that are both permitted by Wyoming State Law and adhere to the Wyoming CLASS Investment Policy.
Pursuant to the direction of the Board and in conformance with legal investments as defined by Wyoming statute, funds of the Participants are invested in high-quality, short-term, fixed-income instruments selected to provide for program safety, liquidity, and competitive rates of return.
